Please read all of this before commissioning! If you have any questions shoot me a pm and I'll answer as quickly as I can. Please don't leave me any commission requests in the comments section.  They will go ignored because I can't keep track of them there. Just pm me. (:

What does all this shit mean?

For each type of commission there is a base price which doesn't change. After that there are modifiers. These modifiers, marked with a tilde ~, are flexible. The number given is the lowest I'll charge for that modifier but it can increase.  You must repeat the modifiers on any additional characters or large props.

Sketches vs. Lineart: Sketches are loose. Not everything is cleaned up or fleshed out. The most refined thing will generally be the face. Less important parts of the character for whatever the character is doing are low priority. With lineart everything is clean and finished. Lineweight is totally a thing here and pulls out the important bits.

Busts vs. Waist-Up vs. Full Body: Pretty self explanatory. Busts are generally just the top of the shoulder sometimes a bit of the upper chest too. Waist-Ups are Hip region and up though I'm not opposed to doing nudes from the top of the thighs up. Full Body is everything from head to toe.

Modifiers

Colors: A smaller number of different colors on a character and/or simple markings will have a lower cost than a multitude of colors.

Shading: The level of detail of a character will usually affect the level of detail of their shading. A character with a bunch of scales or heavily detailed armor takes more time to shade than a character with smooth skin.

Character/Pose Complexity: If the character itself is hugely blinged out and has wings and scales and multiple limbs, a lot of armor, heavily detailed clothing, or anything of that nature the price will get a bump.

Additional Characters: These have a flexible base price depending on how you want them to be interacting together. The more involved it is the higher the price. This is separate from pose complexity because you can still have a bunch of characters and they're all just standing there looking like dweebs or you can have them all fighting each other at the same time.

Backgrounds: I don't do backgrounds right now since I can't reliably and consistently make them. I will offer them sometime in the near future though so keep your eyes peeled.

Cuddle Time by Sarspax

So these two are close enough to a waist-up to use as an example. I actually did draw all of them and then decided that feet weren't important and lopped em off with a mask. Don't worry, I won't do that to your characters unless you want me to. ;)

Breakdown - For the sake of ease we'll call this one a waist-up since to be honest the pose has more in common with what I'd do for a waist-up anyway. I didn't have to draw them actually standing properly and take into account where their weight was. So a waist-up with color and shading and an additional character with both.

$20       First character: (Kifu, the tan gal)
$5         Colors: (She has like 3 colors)
$5         Shading: (Loose, simple shading and not really any detail to worry about)
$5        Character/Pose Complexity: (Cuddling is surprisingly finicky when the characters are sized this differently)
$10       Second character: (He's overlapping her so much and they aren't doing anything anyway so theres no price hike)
$5        Colors: (He's got more but they aren't really complex either and his markings are just thrown on)
$5        Shading: (Simple)
$0        Character/Pose Complexity: (None)

$40      Total

Do not be shy in asking for a price quote! I'm more than happy to estimate what I'll charge for something without anyone needing to commit.

DESIGN COMMISSIONS (Examples coming)

COMING SOON! Character Dolls! These are essentially full body nudes for people who want to design clothing for their characters and for whatever reason of their own they don't want to draw the body themselves. These come in nsfw and safe for work versions. I CAN make them fully colored if you'd like. I can also make them just a single flat color or no color at all. These are also good for figuring out characters markings and such. All that I'd ask is that whatever you use it for just credit and link back to my page :) I'd love to see what you guys do with them.

COMING SOON!  Clothing for your characters! I'll design new outfits for your characters! Prices will vary on complexity as with anything else. If you have a doll already I will draw on top of that. If you don't have a doll you can purchase a custom one from me.

COMING SOON!  Redesigns! If you put trust in my art sense I'll redesign your character or species for you! This is under the idea that we aren't sitting down and hashing out a design together for hours/days/weeks. This is my interpretation of your character/species.  If you want me to sit with you to hash it out first with lots of room for feedback it will cost significantly more because of the labor involved.

COMING SOON!  Sliced up! I'll slice up your character for you!

REQUIREMENTS

FRONT AND SIDE VIEW REFERENCES
+If you want something accurate to your character I NEED at least some sort of front view and some sort of side view drawing of your character. This doesn't need to be a reference quality image but should be accurate to what you want. If I have those I can draw your character from just about any angle.

+I WOULD PREFER THESE TO BE DRAWN BY YOU AND NOT SOMEONE ELSE. If you give me a bunch of different commissioned pieces of work they aren't all going to be the same proportionally since everyone will have a different interpretation of your character. I don't mind if you use those as supplemental references though.

+PLEASE DO NOT SEND ME PHOTOS OR SCREENSHOTS for references unless they are supplemental to your main ones. I'm serious. I don't care how badly you feel you draw. I would love to have your drawn references over photos any day of the week and it gives me a better idea of how YOU perceive your character.
Trust me, this is not a way to filter out people who don't draw. Commissions without references fall under the design/redesign category and cost significantly more because we're going in blind; naturally this means more back and forth, more changes, and more time put into the work to make sure the character is as you want it.
The exception to screenshots is if you are a 3D modeler and you have a model that you built for me to use as a reference.

TEXT INFORMATION
+Please include any other information in text you feel would help such as their personality and general behavior.

PAYPAL
+YOU MUST HAVE THE ABILITY TO PAY THROUGH PAYPAL. I don't accept any other payment methods right now, sorry.

CREATIVE FREEDOM
+As much as I wished I could sometimes, I can't read minds. If you have something specific in mind like a pose or colors please let me know/give me hex codes. I'd love to get it just how you want it. IF YOU DO NOT GIVE ME THAT SORT OF INFORMATION PLEASE SPECIFY THAT YOU ARE LEAVING THIS UP TO MY CREATIVE INFLUENCE. :D

UNLISTED PROJECTS

If there is a project you'd like to see me take on we can discuss that in private. This includes single page comics, character references, etc. I'm very selective about projects since they can take much longer. I prefer faster turn-around work but I'm not unwilling.

RIGHTS TO THE WORK

+ I retain rights to the work itself but not your character(s). Your characters will always belong to you, or the source material to it's respective owner(s)
+ You do not have the right to print the work for resale or distribution unless arranged in the initial price agreement in which I will be asking for a fee per print.
+ You CANNOT remove, alter, or crop out my signature. This also goes for the piece as a whole. You can turn it into personal icons if you want but otherwise ask if you'd like to incorporate it into something else.
+ I retain the right to post the work online in my galleries and include it in portfolios though you can request for your work to be excluded if it's highly personal.

THINGS I WON'T DRAW

    - I can't reliably draw cars, mech, robots, or vehicles yet. Maybe in the future when I'm more confident in my spacial construction skills.
-Porn or nsfw pinups. I'm not opposed to it but my current living situation doesn't easily allow for this to happen.
-I will not do your school assignments so if I find out that you either stole from me or turned a piece of my work in as yours I will get you blacklisted on DA. Don't even try. This doesn't work in the real world. If you turned in stolen work as a portfolio to Disney or EA chances are one of those people looking at it knows whose work that is and you will NEVER WORK IN THE INDUSTRY AT ALL OR EVER AGAIN. So don't ruin your chances by starting that habit earlier.

THINGS I WILL DRAW!

+Monsters, anthros, furries, animals, macabre, gore, violence, cartoons, aliens, fan oc's, nudes, sfw pinup, blood, fantasy, sci-fi, humans, mythical creatures, armor, weapons, etc. If you aren't sure just ask!

PROCESS

-Send me a request for the commission that you're interested in purchasing along with references of the character. I usually get back to people within a day or so depending on how busy I am.

-If I take on the commission I'll likely have a bunch of questions for you and a price quote. If it sounds reasonable I'll proceed to taking care of a preliminary sketch to hash out the pose and more general character details.

-Once the preliminary is done I'll send that to you for approval. This is when we can make any changes necessary. I highly prefer not to make changes later in the game because it means it takes a lot more time, particularly if the lines are done and cleaned up. If for some reason the final product varies wildly from the initial sketch thats on me and I'll definitely fix it. If the sketch was approved and the final work completed but you want a major change I'll likely charge a revision fee based on how big the changes are. If it's minor color tweaks or a missing detail or something of that nature its no big deal and I'll fix that real quick! Or again if its something thats my-bad its totally on my dime and not yours.

-Once the commission is completed I'll send you a screenshot and hold the final work ransom until the payment pops up in my Paypal.

-From there I'll send you a full sized copy of the png file via dropbox. Smaller versions, unless specifically requested, will be posted to Weasyl, Deviantart, and my Tumblr page.  Sometime in the next year or so I'll hopefully have a full website though most of my business will still be conducted here anyway.

ADDITIONAL NOTES
If there are any potential price changes in the middle of a commission because of unforeseen difficulties or last second requested changes I will update the quoted price right away. If you have questions don't hesitate to ask. However, I also ask that you don't ask me for progress every two hours. I try and keep you guys regularly updated. If my schedule suddenly gets busy I'll let you know what's going on. Allow for up to three months for these to be completed if I have not contacted you letting you know that I'm behind schedule. I don't take payment until the commission is complete generally so I'm never going to be holding your money ransom. :)
